Extensive use of copper wires in electrical purposes

Tin-coated copper wires or tinned copper wires find its immense use in electrical and electrolytic purposes as these are excellent conductors of heat and electricity. Copper goes through extensive purification and other industrial process to purify it from the other mixed ores when extracted from the earth’s surface and then made more ductile to be drawn into thin wires. With the rapid industrialization and explosive rise in the human population there has been constantly increasing demand of power and electricity by the people. The extensive use of tinned copper wires in motors, generators and other electrical appliances as well as in electrical wiring of all buildings fulfills the demand.

Mainly copper wires are braided with silver wire or other to be used in power cables as the electroplating of copper wires with silver boost the electrical conductivity of these wires and this also prevents the heat or chemical- induced oxidation of copper to give it a long lasting life. Braided copper connectors are made from tin or silver electroplating and are used for rapid electrical power transit.

Copper wires are braided and silver plated to form silver copper wire which is used in power cables, high-end audio cables. Tinned wires are used for earthing wires, Solder wires and Control Panels. Copper flexible connectors deliver maximum electrical power and are used in household electrical appliances and buses to provide rapid electrical transit. Thus all in all copper wires are the most useful and extensively used product for electricity or power transmission.
