Varying Forms of Copper as Conductor

Copper as a conductor is useful not just in the form of bare copper wire but also in forms that combine it with other metals so as to create varying conductor types that differ in their properties and hence the usage.

Tinned copper wire is an example. This wire build through the hot dip or electroplating process combines the properties of tin and copper. This combination serves to act as an overhead power source.
