Wiring house by using Copper

Copper metal is very essential as it is highly used in many electrical systems. With modernization new ways have been found for improving the use of this metal. Copper is being coated with tin to give it more strength and durability. Tinned copper wire is known for its durability and is used as overhead power source. There are many ways in which tin wire can be prepared – hot – dip process and electroplating. In electroplating rectifier and electrical charge are used to tin the copper. In hot dip process copper strands are dipped in melted tin.

The manufacturing of tinned copper wire is carried out in following stages – specific size wire is drawn with electrolyte copper and in the next stage annealing process is carried out. Tin wire is better than plain copper wire. Coated tin protects the copper from oxidation and also lowers down the percentage of wear. It also facilitates better conductivity and also resists water corrosion. As it is water resistant it is used in marine projects. Owing to all these properties, it last for long time in comparison to plain copper.

Besides, tin coated wire glass wire is also used widely. Glass wire is very durable and also economical and is used widely as fire retardant. For manufacturing this wire drawn copper wire is used. This wire is the best option when solid fire barrier is required. Thus, both these wires are highly useful owing to its uses.
